Xenogears has the most spiritual and mature ending of any RPG that I’ve played through. There were also not many JRPG’s that were released on the Playstation for North America. Playing through a controversial game that covers topics such as Gnosticism, Catholicism, Christianity, racism, trans-humanism, systematic child abuse, and violent scenes of warfare leaves the viewers in a very shocked, and thought-provoking state. The Beginning and The End is a spiritual and emotional compilation used to conclude the story of Xenogears and its characters during the final animation cut scenes.
