In the late seventies, Greek musician Vangelis (Ευάγγελος Οδυσσέας Παπαθανασίου) and singer Jon Anderson (of Yes fame) joined forces to create a duo billed as “Jon And Vangelis”. They released four studio albums under that moniker, starting in 1979.

But the recording in this video is not a “Jon And Vangelis” track. Before the official creation of the duo, Jon Anderson performed as a guest vocalist on some tracks included on different Vangelis albums, with Anderson also providing the lyrics. This is their first collaborative effort, originally released on the 1975 album “Heaven And Hell” by Vangelis. Taken here from the 1982 compilation LP “To The Unknown Man”, which is actually a reissue of the compilation LP “The Best Of Vangelis” from 1978.
