“Ice Cream Man” is a song written and recorded in 1953 by American Chicago blues guitarist and singer John Brim. His recording of the song took 16 years to be released, and nine years after its release it was covered by American band Van Halen on their debut album. Brim used the royalties he received from this version of his song to open a nightclub in Chicago.
