EDWARD PARMENTIER holds
advanced degrees in musicology from Harvard and
Princeton Universities, and has studied harpsichord
with Albert Fuller and Gustav Leonhardt. Since
1976, he has taugh music history, harpsichord, and
performance practice at the University of Michigan
in Ann Arbor, where he presently resides. Mr. Par-
mentier is in demand not only as a soloist, but also as
a teacher, lecturer, and a conductor of early orchestral
works.

TOM PIXTON has attended Cornell and
Brandeis Universities, and has studied harpsichord ·
with Louis Bagger and Gustav Leonhardt. Since his
debut in 1968, Mr. Pixton has performed throughout
the United States, as well as in England, Holland,
and Venezuela. He has made two solo recordings for
Titanic Records: Sonatas of Scarlatti (Ti-18) and
Works of William Byrd (Ti-20). In addition to his
activities as a harpsichordist, Mr. Pixton pursues his
interest in the construction of antique harpsichords.
Harpsichord making has been his primary profession
since the establishment of his workshop in Boston
in 1977.
