This six-movement piece is The Who’s first publicised venture into the rock opera genre. Originally released in 1966 on the “A Quick One” album, here you can hear it as performed on the famous concert at the University of Leeds Refectory on February 14, 1970. The original album only included one third of the concert, and it took 46 years for the complete performance to be released on vinyl (it had been released on CD before, though).
