The United States Of America was a short-lived experimental rock band that released their only album on March 6, 1968. Without a guitar player but instead with a violin and the technology available at the moment like ring modulators and primitive synthesizers, they secured a place in history as an early example of the use of electronic devices in a mixture of avant-garde, psychedelic and art rock music. Here you can hear two tracks from the mono promo version of their self-titled album, reissued by the Sundazed Music label for the 2017 Record Store Day on clear vinyl, mastered by Kevin Gray and pressed at RTI.
