“Law Of The Land” is a song originally released in 1973 by The Temptations as part of their “Masterpiece” LP, which wasn’t actually intended as their masterpiece but producer Norman Whitfield’s, since for the most part the singers’ participation is minimal compared to Whitfield’s elaborated instrumental arrangements and the performances by The Funk Brothers (Motown Records’ base group of musicians in Detroit).
