On December 11 and 12, 1968, for the recording of the TV special “The Rolling Stones Rock And Roll Circus”, a one-time supergroup was put together as part of the cast of artists that performed for that show. The group was named “The Dirty Mac” and its members were John Lennon as “Winston Leg-Thigh” on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, Eric Clapton on lead guitar, Keith Richards on bass and Mitch Mitchell on drums. Here’s their performance of the Lennon song (credited to Lennon-McCartney) “Yer Blues”, including an introduction by Mick Jagger and John Lennon.
