No introduction needed here. This is perhaps the most famous odd meter tune in the world (along with Pink Floyd’s “Money” and Lalo Schifrin’s “Mission: Impossible”). Originally released in 1959 as part of the “Time Out” LP by The Dave Brubeck Quartet, this recording of “Take Five” is taken from the 2012 reissue of the album by Analogue Productions released as a double 45 RPM set, pressed by Quality Record Pressings and mastered by Bernie Grundman.
