Third single from the album Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me recorded in the south of France at Studio Miraval.

Before being a Cure song, an instrumental version was dedicated to the french TV show ‘Les Enfants Du Rock’, who asked the band to write their new theme.

“Breathe” and “Snow In Summer” were used as B-sides for the 7″ singles, “Sugar Girl” and “A Chain Of Flowers” as additional B-sides for the 12″ singles.

It was the first single from The Cure released on cardboard CD single.

The sleeve shows either blue or black stripes on the border. France was the only country where two 7″ versions were released with different B-sides.

On Record Store Day 2014 (April 29th), it was reissued as part of the Side By Side series with a 1989 cover from Dinosaur Jr. on B side.
