Here is a survivor from 1981 The Cars – Shake It Up. Vinyl recorded using Audio Technica TM8 for clear sounding reproduction. The Cars were a trend-setting rock band of the late70’s and early 80’s who incorporated new-age sounds and fashion into all of their music and music videos. Other hits from The Cars included Just What I Needed, Drive, Good Times Roll, and many more. The Cars were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2018 and reunited once more to perform at the induction ceremony without the late singer and guitarist Benjamin Orr, and was the last performance with singer, rhythm guitarist, and songwriter Ric Ocasek who passed away in 2019.
