The performance of “I’m Going Home” (“…By Helicopter”, as Alvin Lee introduces it) was one of the most explosive moments of the Woodstock Music & Art Fair festival in 1969. Lee’s blistering guitar playing (not to mention bassist Leo Lyons’ enthusiastic headbanging) on the closing number of Ten Years After’s set on Sunday, August 17, from 8: 15 to 9: 15 P.M., set the collective mood on fire for sure.
