As we’re starting to make our transition into more of our metal collection, I figured it’s the day after Christmas so why not spin our favorites from the classic 80’s Christian metal band known as Stryper. This is To Hell With The Devil from their 1986 album, To Hell With The Devil.

When I was just a kid I had 4 of their albums on cassette including this one, but as an adult I wanted to relive some of my childhood metal days with collecting a couple of their vinyl records. Looking back on this band after so many years, you realize that a lot of their lyrics were humorously obvious, but maybe that was all apart of the Christian metal era from the 80’s.

At any rate, I still listen to these guys on occasion, and you just can’t beat those unbelievably high pitch screaming notes that Michael Sweet is able to hit.
