This record contains the music created by the late composer and conductor Shirley Walker for the main title and end credits of Superman: The Animated Series, aired for the first time in 1996, plus the combined animated Superman and Batman adventure package released by Warner Bros. Animation one year later. Mondo, the company that released this 4-track, single-sided, Superman shield-shaped record in 2015, produced four variants with the same recorded content:

1. Standard red/yellow color scheme
2. Kryptonite green color
3. Blue, sold exclusively by Newbury Comics
4. Purple, featuring the Bizarro character and logo, plus reverse groove (plays from the inside out)

And here you can see the standard version and the “Bizarro” version being played at the same time. Of course, and since both have exactly the same audio program, only one of them was used for the audio portion of this video.
