From the 1991 smash hit album “Blood Sugar Sex Magik”, which is in my opinion the very best work in the RHCP’s recording career. Basically because I think it’s their most balanced effort: They started creating and recording very frantic, fast-paced stuff, and as they grew older their style greatly mellowed in comparison. BSSM has the perfect middle point: The right amount of frenzy combined with the right amount of maturity.
