Here is an early Rock & Roll type of R&B song from the legendary Ray Charles. Originally released in 1954, this song topped #5 on the U.S. R&B charts for that year. This song was written by Memphis Curtis and Ray Charles chose to headline this song.

The record in which is playing in the video is an early black label Atlantic Rock & Roll compilation LP which featured many early Rock & Roll artist. Due to the age of the record, there are many light scuffs and to help eliminate as many of the popping sounds, the distortion was mostly removed using Izotope RX5 and Adobe Audition. Emphasis was to try to maintain as much of the original source sound as possible.
