PRESSINGS COMPARISON: Love’s “Forever Changes” Rhino 2015 vs. MFSL 2016

Here you can compare two reissues of the 1967 LP “Forever Changes” by psychedelic rock band Love. The first one was released in 2015 by Rhino Records, mastered by Chris Bellman and pressed on white vinyl. The second one was released the following year as a double-45 RPM set by Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, with Krieg Wunderlich and Rob LoVerde on mastering duties.

The track chosen for this comparison is “Maybe The People Would Be The Times Or Between Clark And Hilldale”. The obvious choice would have been “Alone Again Or”, which is the best known track from the album, but this “Maybe The People…” is one of my favorites from the LP.
