“Yesterdays”, the 1933 jazz standard written by Jerome Kern and Otto Harbach, is the opening track of “Bass On Top”, the album recorded in 1957 for Blue Note Records by jazz double bass legend Paul Chambers and his quartet, with Hank Jones on piano, Kenny Burrell on guitar and Art Taylor on drums. 2021 reissue mastered by Kevin Gray.
