This is honestly one of the first bands that always comes to mind when I think of the 90’s. During that time, Nirvana was the 90’s! All through grade school, college and even now, Nirvana is frequently played on X103 the alternative radio station. After Kurt Cobain’s tragic death in 94, that only sent record sales even higher. To me, Nirvana defined the grunge era of music. You could say, I was overly-exposed to this band throughout my childhood and young adult years. I think Nirvana will continue to stand the test of time.
