“Lotta Love” is a song written and recorded by Canadian singer/songwriter Neil Young, also recorded by the late singer Nicolette Larson for her debut LP in 1978. She had recorded background vocals for Young, and he gave the song to her.

Produced by Ted Templeman and engineered by Donn Landee, the same team behind most of Van Halen’s recorded output. The flute solo on “Lotta Love” was recorded by Plas Johnson, the same guy who recorded the famous “Pink Panther Theme” on tenor saxophone.
