1973’s “Raw Power” by Iggy And The Stooges is considered one of the most influential albums in the punk rock genre. The album was first mixed by David Bowie after a failed mixing attempt by Iggy Pop himself, and the Bowie mixes were the only ones available until Iggy Pop remixed the album in 1997 for CD release. Here you can hear both the Bowie and Pop mixes of “Search And Destroy”, the album opener, remastered by Mark Wilder for the reissue of the album on two LPs containing both mixes released in 2016 by Columbia/Legacy.
