English musician Mike Oldfield has an eternal debt of gratitude with Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Records who believed in his work so much to select it as the first release of his then newfound record label, and with film director William Friedkin, who chose his album as part of the soundtrack for the horror masterpiece movie “The Exorcist” after rejecting the score created by renowned composer Lalo Schifrin. Here you can hear the intro section of this 48-plus minute work, the part used on “The Exorcist”.

Originally released in 1973, this is an early 80s reissue of the album.
