“Suzanne”, taken here from the 1975 Lp “Greatest hits”, but originally released in Cohen’s debut album “Songs of Leonard Cohen”, 1967.
Apparently, this song was inspired by a woman named Suzanne Verdal, with whom Cohen had a platonic relationship in the 60s.
