“Mannix” was a US television detective series that ran from 1967 to 1975. The lead character, private investigator Joe Mannix, was portrayed by Mike Connors, and the series’ soundtrack was created by Argentinean composer Lalo Schifrin, who also penned the soundtrack for the immensely successful “Mission: Impossible”.

Here you can hear the “Mannix” main title theme, taken from a 1982 compilation LP with music from both “Mission: Impossible” and “Mannix”. According to Discogs, this compilation was only released in France and Germany. This is the French pressing.
