Although mentioned on the album as a “son mambo”, “Nocturnando”, a joyful song sung by a guy happily walking outside at night while singing and whistling, is a good example of the Cuban rhythm known as “chachachá”. Recorded in 1954 by Estanislao “Laíto” Sureda on lead vocals accompanied by La Sonora Matancera, one of the most important musical groups emerged from Cuba.

Mono recording taken from a Mexican pressing of the compilation LP “40 Años De La Sonora Matancera Vol. II”.
