Released in 1984 from the album “1100 Bel Air Place” (Iglesias’ residence at the time), this single brought together Spanish superstar Julio Iglesias, country superstar Willie Nelson, and super-producer Richard Perry. It became the singers’ most successful single on the pop charts, where it peaked at #5 for a single week, dated May 19th of that year. It would be Nelson’s second top-five, after “Always On My Mind” peaked at #5 in 1982.
