Released as the first single from the top ten album “Bombs Away Dream Babies” in 1979, this song had help from Fleetwood Mac members Stevie Nicks (background vocals) and Lindsay Buckingham (guitar). “Gold” hit the top ten and became one of only few songs in the top ten to not be a disco or disco-inspired song. It made it to #5 for two weeks in September of that year.
