This is a 2018 re-pressing of Jason Becker’s 1988 album Perpetual Burn. For those who do not know, Jason Becker was a young musical prodigy ready to take on the world with his gift of metal music. Then, at age 20 he was diagnosed with ALS and given 3 to 5 years to live. He’s still alive to this day, and while he cannot physically play guitar, his mind allows him to still write and release music.

The following music are recordings from 1988 so he was still playing and recording these songs prior to getting ALS. I will leave a link below in the comment section to learn more about Jason Becker from his documentary, Jason Becker: Not Dead Yet.
