Throughout this recording in the two-harpsichord pieces, Thurston Dart is heard on the right channel, playing an instrument by Thomas Goff, and Igor Kipnis is heard on the left channel, playing an instrument by Robert Goble & Sons. For the duets the sound of the two harpsichords has been combined.
The disposition for both instruments is 4′, 8′, 16′, and buff stops on the lower manual and 8′, 8′ English lute on the upper manual.
