Françoise Petit, honorary prize for piano and first prize for History of Music of the
“Conservatoire Superieur de Paris” has played in twenty-five countries a repertoire of
150 old or modern composers, both on the harpsichord and the piano.
The Bablock Prize was awarded to her in England and a “Grand Prix du Disque” in France.
She is also a knight of the “Ordre National du Mérite”.
She was in charge of the restitution of Duphly’s work for the Heugel Publishing Co (L.P.I.).
