These are English versions of the original bossa nova songs made by Tom Jobim years before.
The arranger and composer Claus Ogerman also took part on this collaboration with his beautiful string arrangements, which were his trademark. He was also the conductor on this recording sessions.
This vinyl pressing is a reissue commemorating the 50th anniversary of the original release. (1967)
