Released from the album “Slowhand”, this single reached #3 on the Hot 100 for three weeks in April of 1978, only to be kept out of the top spot by the Bee Gees “Stayin’ Alive” and “Night Fever”.
As a side note, one of the background vocalists, Yvonne Elliman, had her own top ten hit on the charts at the same time titled “If I Can’t Have You”, which would eventually be #1 in the weeks to come.
