On September 25 and 26, 1999, Deep Purple joined forces with the London Symphony Orchestra and Paul Mann as conductor to perform Jon Lord’s “Concerto For Group And Orchestra” at the Royal Albert Hall in London, along with a Deep Purple set featuring several guests. Here’s “Wring That Neck” captured from that event, featuring Graham Preskett on solo violin plus session ensemble The Kick Horns: Roddy Lorimer and Paul Spong on trumpets, Annie Whitehead on trombone, Tim Sanders on tenor sax and Simon C. Clarke on baritone sax.
