This is the big jazz band assembled by producer Creed Taylor with major names in the genre signed by his CTI Records label. “Grits Bowl” is the tune that opened their concert at the Hollywood Bowl on July 30, 1972, released five years later in three separate LPs named “CTI Summer Jazz At The Hollywood Bowl”.
