Already known as the saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, and as a famous session musician, Clemons decided to record his own album in 1985. Together with Jackson Browne, he had his first chart hit with his debut single. It peaked at #18 for one week on January 18th of 1986. It became his only hit and one of Browne’s last hit singles.
