Blind Guardian, while a power metal band that formed in the late 80’s, are no stranger to classic American music from the 50’s and the 60’s. Those of you who don’t know, their admiration didn’t just stop at The Chordettes, but they’re also huge admirers of The Beach Boys. Hansi has said in numerous interviews that they love classic American music, and this 1954 number has made them all the more amazing in my mind.

They stick to their metal roots, while still sprouting into very diverse genres of music spreading their admiration for the classics from our end of the border, all over the world. This is the new 2019 remastered release of their 1996 album, The Forgotten Tales, presented on yellow vinyl. Enjoy!
