Released as Aretha Franklin’s first single off the album “Who’s Zoomin’ Who”, this would become her first top 40 hit since “Jump To It” charted in 1982. “Freeway Of Love” would become one of her biggest hits, reaching #3 on the Hot 100 for a single week on August 31st of 1985. It also topped the Soul Chart, spending five weeks there during the entire month of August.
