This is an unboxing video of AC/DC Power Up 2020 Target Exclusive box set which includes a limited edition AC/DC PWR UP t-shirt. Skip to (12:55) to see a demo of track no. 1 on side (b) titled ‘Demon Fire’. This is an uptempo track with a lot channel panning of different hi-hats and crash symbols. Also pay attention to the lead guitar riffs and guitar rhythm, the bass guitar which helps to keep the tempo up, as well as Brian Johnson’s vocals. Track audio is 100% pure vinyl, no additional filters used. You can see my dynamic range value in comparison to posted values for CD format and someone else’s vinyl copy of the album that I have found online. You can also hear a slight difference with the lead guitar and rhythm guitar sections which sounds more lively than AC/DC’s official audio on their YouTube channel. However I feel that the snares are more cleaner on the digital versions than on my vinyl setup.

My audio interface involves nothing extraordinary. I am using an old quartz direct drive Technics SL-Q2 turntable from the early 1980’s paired with a Stanton 881s MM cartridge with a LP Gear line contact replacement stylus made for a Pickering xuv-3000 line (Pickering and Stanton LP gear stylus were identical with the difference in the exterior body color and shape. Price of Pickering at the time was $30 less, no longer the case). Preamp is a Denon PMA750 integrated preamp from the early 1980’s directly into line in of computer. I record in 48k/24-bit format before YouTube compresses the audio to a lower quality.
