The lake might be freezing in this cold winter, but the carp go with the icy flow bringing some hot material on KOI003 that comes from Ukrainian rising talent Peshka. Oriental EP sees the young Ukrainian producer go full-on-force with two captivating originals that meander between twisted drum arrangements and hefty basslines, leaving the necessary space for intriguing and melodic sounds to rise freely. On the remix duties, the label welcomes Romanian spearhead Arapu who delivers a massive “hands-up heads-down” reinterpretation of “Orient”, turning the original into a basement destroyer.
